Hair

1) Spray hair with the Angelo David Long and Strong Detangler, followed with the Angelo David Sea Silk Styling Mousse to prepare for styling

2) Begin blow drying hair by sections using the Angelo David Round Brush, bringing hair all the way to the back.

3) Gather hair and begin your fish braid. Divide hair into two sections. Take a small portion of hair from one side then bring it to the other, repeating this process back and forth. We want a clean, yet effortless feel, so it is ok if strands of hair starts sticking out.

4) Continue braiding until you reached desired length, then secure the braid with an elastic

5) Finish the look with a great hairspray, like L'oreal Tex Infinium Professional, for a firm hold without creating stiffness

Make up

Face

- Dior SkinFlash Primer all over face

- Follow with Dior Dior Skin Nude Natural Glow Hydrating makeup all over face using a foundation brush.

- Conceal problems areas using Dior Nude Skin Perfecting and Hydrating. With a concealer brush, apply product under the eye area and blend with your fingertips..

- Use Dior Rosy Glow Health Glow around the apples of the cheeks to give you that subtle rosy glow.

Eyes

- Apply Dior Smoothing High Impact Eyeshadow Crystal white 006 all over eye and on the tear line.

- Line the ends of the eyes with Dior Style Liner in Jet Black

- For voluminous lashes, do 2 coats of Dior DiorShow Extase to top and bottom lashes

Lips

- Line both top and bottom lips with Dior Dior Rouge Liner Automatic Lip Liner in Tourbillion Pink

- Finish the lips with Dior Addict Lip Polish

Looking Polished With Duri Cosmetics & NCLA Nail Colors

Another hue I'm loving is Eight Days A Week by NCLA Los Angeles Nail Lacquer.  From the Summer of '69 collection this steel blue/purple shade is perfect for toes!  Once it's dry, it reminds me of a cement color.  I added a single layer of silver glitter as a top coat and it sparkled like crazy!  If you've not familiar with NCLA Los Angeles Nail Lacquer go to their website (www.shopncla.com) and take a peek!  Not only do they offer some awesome colors, but they also have dozens of different nail wrap designs.  My favorite of the nail wraps is the The Ray & The Ro because they look Missoni inspired!

Santa Margherita Nail Polish? A Perfect Pairing!

Santa Margherita has been making my beloved Pinot Grigio since 1979 and now they are making nail polish?!  Oh happy day!  Known for their delicious wines and sparkling wines, Santa Margherita has introduced a fun, match-your-nails-to-your-drink, limited edition nail polish collection and I'm in love!

Get the look with M.A.C Cosmetics

The trick to achieving this warm summer fusion is to keep the colors on the eyes, lip and cheek in the same tonal family. Especially matching the warm tone on the cheek with the lip.

1. Create a clean even skin tone with Mineralize Satinfinish Foundation and set with the Select Sheer Pressed Powder on a large powder brush.

2. For a soft warm coral on the cheek apply Powder Blush in the color, Style. Dust on the cheek, back to the ear.

3. Highlight the eye with Metal X Cream Eyeshadow in the color,Fusion Gold. Apply this to the inside corner and under the brow.

Apply the Eyeshadow color, Motif across the eyelid and blend into the crease. For added pigment dab the color onto the lid. Also apply this under the eye starting at the outer corner with a fine brush.

4. Line the top lash line with Technakoh Liner in the color Photogravure. This pencil is soft so it can be blended and smudged.

 

Finish the eye with Black Studio Fix Lash Mascara.

5. Create a clean lip line with Cream Stick Liner in the neutral color, Summerfruit and top with Tinted Lipglass color, Check This Out.
