Mani Of The Week - butter LONDON's Teddy Girl

I love this retro bubblegum pink hue from butter LONDON!  Teddy Girl is the perfect fun, spring shade.  The butter LONDON display at Ulta always catches my eye!  They offer so many amazing colors that it's hard to choose which shades I can't live without!

Face: Start with a clean moisturized face, apply Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Airbrush Spray Makeup to a large powder brush and then dust over the face evenly. This spray foundation glides on and is so light but dries like powder. Layer for extra coverage.

Dust the cheeks with Revlon Powder Blush color Softspoken Pink. Apply to the cheek and sweep back to the ear.

 

Eyes: Apply the lightest shade in the Nuance Salma Hayek Mineral Eyeshadow Duo Sheer Plum/Putty, under the brow and to the inside corner of the eye. Then the plum shade to the crease of the eye and blend up to meet the light color.

 

Run a line of Maybelline Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Eyeliner Charcoal along the top lash line and re-apply for a thicker line. Start at the outer corner and work in.

 

Finish the eyes with two coats of Maybelline XXL Pro Volume Mascara Very Black

Last week Natasha Sunshine-Antonio, owner of the infamous ByuTi on Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica, opened the doors to her newest premier Hair Therapy Salon in Brentwood, CA.

Flawless in a few fuss-free minutes - that's what Pixi is all about!

Pixi is a brand I'm newly familiar with so I was really excited to play around with the Pixi Glow Fairy Face Palette and a few other goodies from the Pixi Glow collection.  I'm a sucker for cute packaging so right away I was in love with the products.  "A whole face in a case", the Fairy Face Palette is inspired by budding roses, berry nectars & dew at dawn.  The shades are universally flattering and perfectly pigmented!

I loved the Straight on till Morning Liner in 2nd Twinkle Star, a deep khaki green sparkle green paired with some of the pink hues from the Fairy Face Palette.  A swipe of the super-nourishing gel crayon Magic Tink Tint in Happy Thoughts Pink over my lips and I was ready to go.

Mani Of The Week - The Hunger Games Collection by China Glaze

Although I may very well be the only person on the planet who has not read the book or seen The Hunger Games movie yet, I am loving The Hunger Games Collection by China Glaze! 

Since I couldn't decide on which of the gorgeous hues I liked the best I tried Harvest Moon, Agro, Riveting, and Stone Cold all at once! 

Right now I'm trying to decide between the orange glitter Riveting and the bronze glitter Harvest Moon as my favorite.  They're all so pretty!  The gun-metal color Stone Cold is a matte color and dries in an instant, perfect for a quick mani before you have to head out.  I opted to skip a clear top coat because I'm into the matte look it gives.

I'm also sporting the shimmery greenish Agro on my toenails and will probably use that as my "black polish replacement" for spring.  China Glaze has quickly become one of my new favorite polishes!  Now I'm going to have to go see The Hunger Games!
